Action Groups

Felinfoel Communities First is establishing action groups within the community; each one will be made up of voluntary organisations, statutory organisations and local residents and will address key areas set out in the Communities First Action Plan. These Action Groups will focus on taking forward initiatives that are community led and delivered.

 

Environment & Regeneration Group

This group will take forward litter and waste campaigns, environmental development projects and establish a recycling facility in the village.

 

Health & Wellbeing Group

This group will engage local people in health related initiatives such as workshops, physical activities and healthy eating.

Community Safety Group

This group will be identifying and addressing community safety issues in conjuntion with local residents, organisations and the neighbourhood policing team.

 

Youth Action Group

This group will aim to engage with young people and encourage interaction with the Communities First programme through the delivery of community projects designed to increase youth participation.
