Youth Area

Felinfoel Communities First works with all members of the community, both young and old. Since Communities First came to Felinfoel we have linked with services within the community for young people such as Felinfoel Youth Club, Felinfoel Girls Friendly Society and Bryngwyn Afterscool Club - as well as working with young people in the village on community projects and activities aimed at Increasing the young people's skills and abilities.Young people of Felinfoel enjoying community activities

Completed projects include:

  • Felinfoel Juniors Community Garden
  • Recycling workshops
  • Heritage Trail
  • Painting in the Family Cntre Garden
  • Fair Trade Workshops
  • Antisocial Behaviour Workshops
  • Waste/Litter Amnesties

Felinfoel Communities First aims to establish a Youth Action group that will involve young residents and the statutory and voluntary sectors to work on projects within the vilage for the benefit of young people living here.

Any young person living in the area is also able to attend the activities organised by the SPLASH programme, run by the Llanelli Youth Service, contact Bwlch Rangers on 01554 749 782 for more information.

 

Girls Friendly Society

Meets every Monday at the Felinfoel Church Hall from 6:30pm until 8:00pm.
